AVT Introduces New Valve Sizes for Installation on Smaller Applications

Proven design delivers superior repair and maintenance capability for new applications.

(Houston) –Advanced Valve Technologies, A ClockSpring|NRI Company (AVT), a manufacturer of advanced industrial valve products with minimally invasive compact fittings, is expanding its portfolio with the introduction of 1.5-inch, 2-inch, and 3-inch inline valves. The new valve series is an extension of the award-winning AVT EZ Valve™, which is ranked among the industry’s most innovative solutions and requires no water shutoff while the valve is being installed.

“AVT is building on its leading product line for the water industry to introduce a proven solution for new markets,” says AVT President Harry Gray. “Applying our patented valve technology to civil structures opens the door for a huge range of applications.”

The new inline valves feature the light and compact AVT EZ Valve™ design that incorporates an integrated isolation gate to allow the valve to be installed under pressure with no water shutoff or disruption to service. They are designed for installation in high-rise buildings, multiple occupancy buildings, hospitals, factories, commercial buildings, and refining and petrochemical plants and can repair commercial plumbing, water distribution lines, and HVAC systems.

While traditional installations are functional, they are disruptive, time-consuming, and labor-intensive.

Installing the new AVT EZ Valve™ solutions requires the removal of one small wall area on a single floor that can then be isolated following installation. The system uses a slot-access design that taps the pipeline with a narrow, milled slot and produces no coupon. Repairs using this unique design can be performed four times faster than those using other valves on the market, and because there is no service disruption, there is no need for boil orders or customer notices.

Like all AVT products, this new line of inline valves is easy to install, cost-effective to deploy, and durable for decades.

“By designing smaller valve sizes with the same features as our original AVT EZ Valve™ design, we are delivering the ability to execute safer, faster, less intrusive line repairs,” Gray says.
